Hello scrappy friends,
As a mother with a kindergarten aged child, I wanted to do something nice for all the workers who help my child throughout the year. My son is in daycare 1/2 time, and Kindergarten 1/2 time, so I made some adorable pillow boxes for the teachers and workers who do such a wonderful job all the days of the year! :)

Recipe:
For the pillow boxes, I used the Wrap it Up Cartridge  on my gypsy, and used the hide contour feature to cut out a solid box rather than having a window.
The reindeer is from Create a critter.

I stuffed the boxes with turtles, a candy cane and a couple small chocolate balls. :)

Hello Happy Bloggy Buddies!
I am in need of your advice!
A friend of mine asked me to order a bunch of cricut stuff for his wife... so I did. I ordered a bunch of cartridges, and other beginner things every cricut-er needs!
I'm planning on giving her 2 cartridges... she has a son and a daughter.. Just something to keep in mind.. :)

Now I have a problem! I ordered some for myself too.. and am stuck as to which ones to give her, and which ones to keep! I bought 5 cartridges during an online black Friday sale...

Happy Wednesday everyone! I had the honour of being asked to teach a cricut class at my local university, and of course I said yes!
I had to present a few projects I had made over time, because a lot of the class members have never even heard of a cricut, nevermind seen what it can do! so… I went in expecting the unexpected… and when we got started, and had a class of about 17-20 people and 6 cricut machines, we began.
We began the class by talking about the usage policies and rules for using the machine (the university purchased one so that students and staff could use it – plus about 20 cartridges and a gypsy!)
we then went over the buttons and their uses. What each of the basic feautres was.
The class started off with all the students a tad overwhelmed.. who wouldn’t be when you haven’t done any research on it before using it (lol – i think i watched about 200 videos about the cricut before i bought mine)
after the first initial reaction to all the buttons, the students started getting the hang of it, and created projects on their own! I was so proud of all my lil students! Open-mouthed smile

Hello everyone!

I was asked by my University to do a window display as a donation to Our local humane society! Its a start, even though I’m going to be adding a few more design elements once it is put up on the window, and for inside of the building to honour the people who donate money or volunteer their time.

Here is what Me and One of the fabulous women I work with (Terralynn) came up with! Smile
