Hello Everyone!! Its that time again! - FABULOUS FRIDAY -

Now, Allow me to introduce Susan Bermudez as my guest designer this week!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to share some Holiday Cheer. My name is Susan Bermudez and I reside over at Susana's Scrappin' Corner (http://susanascorner.blogspot.com/)
I share my life with my wonderful husband, Alex, and our children Melissa, Alex Jr and David. Our little dog Tina also shares our home and hearts.

We have entered my favorite holiday season and I think it is going to be a scrappingly good one! I could not help but break out the scraps with friends and come up with these cards to share with you. Many of the products I used are from Stampin' Up. A huge shout out to my dear friend, Julie, who shares her time, talents and supplies with us monthly! I make all my cards standard size (4.5 x 5.25) because it easy to find or make envelopes. So, crank up the holiday music and Happy Scrappin'

Gold Star Card:

To make this card, I used a scrap of red paper (1 1/2" x 5 1/2") that was punched with a ribbon punch and green plaid on top. Put a few gold stars and voila! The green cards was stamped with Versamark and the Stampin Up Delightful Decorations stamp set.

Green Plaid Ornament Card:

I just love this Christmas lights paper! It was cut at 1 1/4" x 5 1/4". The card background is Stampin Up's Real Red. I used their Ornament Punch with the Green plaid paper and matted it on white paper. To make it appear that it is hanging, I cut a strip of red card stock 3/8" x 5 1/2". So the ornament did not look too plain, I cut a little piece of ribbon into a bow and used a foam pop dot (dimensional). The background is Versmarked using the Stampin Up Delightful Decorations stamp set

Merry Christmas Tag Card:

Another card that is quick and easy. The tag punch was matted on red paper and trimmed with scissors. As you see the Delightful Decorations stamp set is a favorite of mine. I stamped the Merry Christmas in SU Real Red ink and the circles in Certainly Celery. The 1" Grossgrain ribbon was the perfect divider for the stamped background and the Christmas striped paper (cut 2 3/4" x 5 1/2") I think that the bling on the tag is the perfect touch.

Snowflake Be Merry Card

How simple is this. I have to admit I had a little technical difficulties with the Smooch spritz spray. Less is more! The SU Snowflake punch was used and a small hole punch allowed my to out the crystal brad in the center. I stamped the Be Merry sentiment and used this generic Christmas plaid ribbon with my favorite paper (cut 2 1/2" x 5 1/2")

Snowflake Christmas Braid Card

Last but not least is my other snowflake card. I Versamarked the red card with mini snowflakes, put a half pearl on the on top of the snowflake punched from white card stock. The Christmas braid is generic from a local drugstore chain.

The best part of these cards is that they can be adapted for any holiday or occasion. Change the colors and you can have a Hanukkah card or one for Valentine's Day or even for a birthday or new baby. The possibilities are infinite

Thanks again for sharing this time with me and I wish you and yours a wonderful rest of the year!

Happy Scrappin'
