Hello again friends!
I had a post up a couple weeks ago looking to see the interest in having a Cricut Cuts swap - which means, you will be given a random partner, and exchange emails - then trade cuts from cartridges you don't have in which your partner does have! :)
sound like fun?
If you would like to participate in this, please comment with your EMAIL ADDRESS so I have a  way to get ahold of you. This is going to be tons of fun!
Thanks Bunches!

Hello Bloggers!
Welcome once again to Fabulous Friday!
Today's guest designer is going to be...

Lauren Created this wonderful project!

Supplies:

2 12 x 12 peices cardstock - colored/patterned on both sides.

Ribbon, brads or any bling you would like.

Adhesive - ATG gun, mono-adhesive, Zip Dry, etc.

Scor pal or anything to score with.

Scissors or paper cutter.

Step 1 – Score 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock at 4 inches on every side. Double sided paper works best since you will see both sides.

Step 2 – Cut top and bottom at both folds. Fold remaining uncut score lines.

Step 3, 4 and 5– Fold in middle flap, bring outside flaps in and meet at corner. You will need to use adhesive to hold the two flaps together. I used a simple glue runner. Monoadhesive or paper glue such as Zip Dry will work just as well. Now you can glue down the middle flap to the two outside flaps. Repeat with other side.

Step 6, 7, 8 – Cut a strip of same colored cardstock at 1 ¼ x 12. This will be your handle. Add ribbon or any decorative item you like. Next Punch holes – any size into your 1 ¼ x 12 inch strip, as well as your box. You will want to glue these together and then punch the whole so everything is perfectly lined up. I used embroidery floss to tie through the holes. This will help to ensure that your handle does not come off.
Now comes the fun part – you can decorate however you like. I kept mine very simple so you can get the concept of the box. For my decoration I used my Gypsy and Cricut Cartridge Home Accents. I cut it at 4 inches and used Zip Dry to glue it on.

You can add anything you like in these. They are perfect for baby/wedding showers, birthday party favors or just to stop by to see a friend with some cookies!!

Enjoy!

Thanks so much Lauren for creating this fabulous project! I am so going to have to make these for my wind up at work next week! :) A great way to say thank you for everything~
