Cartridges Used - Once upon a princess, Create a critter

Hello Scrapping friends...
I was contacted by a friend on facebook who is interested in doing a cricut cuts swap - which means - you could send me your address, I would mix them up, and exchange addresses between you and a partner, then you could send about 10 cuts from the cartridges you have (that your partner does not have) to an assigned partner, and they would send you 10 cuts from a cart you don't have... Its a great way to get new cuts and different paper designs than something you would normally have. :)
Anyone interested?
Just leave me a comment if you are interested, with your email address, and I will get it all set up. :)

It's Challenge Time! I love a good challenge...
I just seen on Emma's blog that shes having a challenge that consisted of the celebrations cartridge.. and I just ordered and got this one in.. so I decided it was perfect! :)
I created a birthday card for a little girl turning five.. ( I don't know who I will give it to yet... but my son will be going to kindergarten, and we know a few kids who have birthdays coming up ;)

Welcome to Week 2 of Fabulous Friday!
Today I'm going to be featuring the wonderful Lori West from http://thepaisleyturtle.blogspot.com

Today I'm going to be featuring the wonderful Lori West from http://thepaisleyturtle.blogspot.com
What to do:
Take 3 or 4 paper towels and fold them into a square to make an "ink pad"
Lay the paper towels in a plastic or glass container and then pour household bleach into the container lightly covering the paper towels.
Take any stamp and "ink" it up with the bleach "ink pad" and then stamp onto colored cardstock.
Different brands of cardstock do completely different things when stamped with bleach. The cardstock I used today was just some from my stash and when i stamped the green cardstock it left a blue image, but when I stamped praying for you onto the brown cardstock it did left a light brown image. Just lovely!!!
Card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Green cardstock was cut at 5" x 3 1/2". Flower was cut from Don Juan at 3".
Supplies Used:
Plastic Container (unused storage container in my stash)
Paper Towels (cheap is fine, use WHITE ONLY)
Household bleach (name brand or generic will work)
Script Rubber Stamp (Unknown)
Praying for you Stamp (Stampin' Up)
Word Window Punch (Stampin' Up)
Brown Ruffle Ribbon (Hobby Lobby)

Don Juan Cricut Cartridge (flower)

I Just wanted to send a huge shout out to Lori for sending in such an amazing project! I can't wait to try this technique! :)
If anyone else is interested in being featured on a Fabulous Friday project/tutorial, please send me and email to kricutkween@gmail.com

Hey bloggers!
I'm part of a cricut card exchange group on facebook, and the theme this month was sympathy/get well soon! I just wanted to quickly share the card I created for this type of event...
I cut the angel from Everyday Paper dolls, and cut the wings from my gypsy Wanderings cart (that came with the gypsy). I used ink to ink the sides of the angel's dress and the tips of her wings. The sentiment is from the my pink stamper Everyday occasions stamp set. Here she is! ;)

Stamp is from My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions
I have ordered the princess face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps, but they aren't here yet.. so I will need to just be patient a little longer.. :(

Hello Bloggers
For those of you who don't know, I'm starting a new segment on Scrappily Ever After... Called 'Fabulous Friday' which will feature a new person every week that makes cool things! I will invite them to be a special guest on my blog, and each one will share a tutorial on a certain craft or creation that they have made especially for this occasion!
Sound Exciting?
:D
So, Lets get started!
Now, without further ado, Here is my first fabulous Guest
Karyn Watton!
Karyn Made a fabulous stationary box! Here is how you create this awesome project!
What you'll need:
1 sheet of patterned paper (for lid, address book, stamp and envelope)
2 sheets coordinating card stock (box)
Pen
Lined Paper (address book)
5 sheets patterned paper (for cards, notes and tags)
2 sheets of Card stock
What You Do:
Step 1 - Score a piece of coordinating 12x12 card stock at 5" and 7"
Rotate cardstock clockwise, and score once again at 3" and 9".
Step 2 - Cut the sides to the score lines. Fold these cut pieces into the center and glue down for extra support (this makes the bottom of your card box)
Step 3 - Cut 1 3/4" off each side of the top panels only. Score the bottom panel at 1" and 11".
Step 4 - Cut a piece of coordinating card stock at 8 1/2" x 4 1/4". Score both short sides and one of the long sides at 1 1/4". Trim corners and apply double sided tape to scored section. Fold up the top of your card box and attach this piece to the box to form a holder for your cards.
Step 5 - Notes and Tag holders - Cut coordinating Card stock at 51/2"x2" and another piece at 4 1/2"x2". Score both pieces at 1/2" and 1" from each end. Apply glue or other double sided tape to outer pieces and attach to top of card box.
Step 6 - Address book - to make the address book, cut some lined paper into 3 1/2"x 6". You can use as many pieces as you would like. I used about 10. Cut a piece of patterned paper 6 1/2"x 3 3/4"
Score at 3 1/4" x 3 3/4". Fold in half, insert your lined paper. Punch 2 holes and insert brads to hold it all together. Attach address book to the bottom half of your card box leaving enough room for your pen.
Step 7 - Stamp Envelope - cut a piece of patterned paper 2" x 3". Score at
1/2" on both short sides and one long side. Trim corners, fold scored pieces under and glue down becide address book.
Step 8 - Pen Holder - Cut a piece of cardstock at 2" x 1 1/2". Wrap loosely around you pen making a loop. Center your pen where you would like it, then attach loop to
stationary box.
Step 9 - Box Lid - Cut a piece of patterned paper 10 1/8" x 6 1/8". Score at 2" on all sides. Trim corners and fold ends up to form the lid. Embellish your lid as desired. **note attaching a coordinating strip of cardstock or ribbon around your lid will give it extra support.**
What a fun project this is to make! Instuctions are so simple to follow, and its a super cute idea! Here is the one that I made using Karyn's instructions...
I didn't create my cards or tags yet, because I want to put a good effort into it! Tomorrow!
I would love to thank Karyn soo much for the wonderful photos instructions on how to create this cute project!
Check out her facebook pages Here, and Here
Thank You Karyn for your hard work and the fun project!!! :D

Hello Happy Scrappers...
I know that in this big wide world, there are So Many people out there that have blogs and make great and amazing things! I wanted to start a new Segment called 'Fabulous Friday'. What it is, is I will be contacting people that do amazing projects, and ask them If they would be willing to make me something to showcase on the Friday of that week!
Ever Friday will be a different creator, and a different theme, design, or project. I'm hoping that by doing this I will broaden my creative focus, and learn more about the artistic and scrappy world around me! :)
If you would like to participate in this new adventure, please send me an email to kricutkween@gmail.com and I will get back to you :)
Now, for a project...
This is a card I created using a toy box that my son had.. I made 2 templates.. the first one is the outline of the 'transformer dude' and the second one I made, I cut out all of the little facial features, then glued them together. :) Definitely makes me appreciate my cricut that much more!!
I made this card for a birthday party my friend is attending...
she Loves it! Wahoo!
