Hello Again Blogging Buddies!
I'm really in a crafty mood. Creating today feels natural! :) (which is always a good thing)
I made this little card using... dun dun dun... CREATE A CRITTER! as usual. I can always find uses for this cart! :)
Here is my Birthday Hugs card, Hope YOu like it...
<3 Holly

EDIT: The paper used for this card...
Background paper - from walmart - its in the scrapbook area, and its by Paper Reflections - the full spectrum color line patterned paper pack (comes with 100 sheets 12"x12")
Flower - The top of the flower paper was cardstock actually purchased at Dollerama In Canada (don't know if there are Dolleramas in the states, or elsewhere) - it was the Party Pazazz Paperdoodles by DJ Inkers.

Both packs have so many cute pages in them! :)
Happy Friday Fabulous Friends!!!
I was timely enough to be able to take part in Momo's (madebymomo.blogspot.com)  Swap that enabled 52 strangers to exchange cuts from different cartridges! :) I just wanted to quickly post my cuts that I sent over to Indira in Dominican Republic! :)

Hello Indira!!! :)

Next up, is the Challenge that Momo posted, which was a color challenge. Orange Blue and White! I was trying to come up with something extra cute, so I was looking at my cartridges, and seen the little butterfly, and this is what I came up with... I cut an extra set of wings, and adhered the outer side of the wing to the base, and turned it into a card. I then used my crop a dile to punch out a couple of holes for the ribbon. :)

Hello Bloggers and Happy Thrusday night!

My friend had told me a week ago that shes moving out of her house, and into an apartment. So, of course, I had to make a "welcome to your new home" card! :) This makes me happy, and since I should use my Wild Card Cart more often, I decided to use the card on page 75. :) Its a Door Envelope and a house card! I thought it was darling. I made a couple versions because I wasn't sure which I would like better. Here they are! (I also have a cute layering trick, since this card doesn't have looooots of layers like some of the newer carts do...

For the flower pots, because there werent layers, they were just solid and one color, I cut out 3 different colors of the same flower pot (tree)  - which is the icon creative features key  - What I  did was, cut out a pink layer, a green layer and a purple layer. The purple layer is my base, then I cut off the tree top on the pink paper, and used my zig 2 way glue pen to adhere it down. lastly I took my green one and cut the tree top off again, and used my swirl punch to punch out a few swirls so that the pink under layer would show through... giving the illusion of 'roses' :)

turned out pretty cute.

Size - I used the fit to page feature for the envelope, which turned out to be 7 3/4 on my expression, and cut out the card at 7 3/4 as well.

Hello and Happy Thursday to my fellow scrappers!!! :)

I just wanted to share my new button and grab box with you, since I finally figured out all these image programs! (not an expert, but enough to make a button!) Ok, Something Quick and Fun

(the following is to be read with an infomercial voice)

So, You say you don't have a pink cricut expression, and your tired of it looking plain... Well, have I got the solution for you! Vinyl!
lol, here is what I did with my plain white cricut expression! I wanted it to be cute and more girly. So, i bought this 'silhouette vinyl' in 'bright pink', and cut it out on my cricut. Here is the final product. I think it adds just a bit of cute pink flair to it! Hope you like it!
<3 Holly

EDIT: OK, to answer the question, "Which carts did you get these flowers from?" the Answer is, (drum roll please.................) Create a Critter! Surprised? lol. they are the flowers on page 26 - layer 3, and on page 47, layer 3 cut at 3" on REAL DIAL SIZE. I cut this layer layer because I didn't want the smiley face on my flower.. (though that would have been really cute too) I didn't use transfer tape because the shapes were pretty simple, and I didn't feel it was necessary, and it was pretty easy - for these shapes at least.

*Please Note - I used real dial size for these, because I did not want them to be 3" on a zebra, I wanted them to be Actually 3" (or 2" or 1" for the other flowers)

Hello Happy Scrappers~~
About a week ago, I found an awesome website called www.Joyslife.com. I noticed on her sidebar that she was looking for 8 scrapbookers/card makers to be featured on her blog using her new stamp line "Lots of Pun" which were created to go along with the create a critter cartridge. So, I submitted my name and showed her my blog, and to my complete surprise, I GOT CHOSEN!!! Could not believe it! I'm so extremely excited and shocked.. still! :)

So, what is going to be happening, is she is going to be sending me some of her new stamps, and I'm going to create something especially for her website, to showcase her new stamp line, which will also be super great for me, because who doesn't like new stamps! :)

Thanks so much Joy for this awesome opportunity, and I'm looking so forward to creating awesome new things with your 'Lots of Pun' stamps!

Here is the link if you are interested in viewing/purchasing her new adorable stamps or other products she has for sale...

Wowzers, I Promised I would create something new today, and I was stumped! my creative juices were not flowing at all. Then I started thinking about how stumped I really was... so I decided to make a "stump" card from create a critter. I remember watching a couple cute videos on Made by Momo, and Yoliebean of really cute gift card holders... and then it came to me.. Usually when I give a gift card, its because I don't know what to buy! - Stumped during birthday shopping... so finally this is the product I came up with! i think its pretty cute, and I'm glad I was stumped today! :)

Hope You Like it,
<3 Holly

p.s - the pictures are making this card look kind of distorted (ie, not straight lines) but it is corrrect when you see it in real life! :)

Broke down today. It was hard. It felt good. Didn't think life could feel like this. I bought a gypsy. Since purchasing the expression, (my first and only paper cutter) I have had an amazing viberance to my life that I didn't know existed.this addiction is getting stronger, (and more expensive) but I think it will be great in the end! I think you will like what I create, and I think it will be fun for us all to experience. I promise tomorrow I will post a new creation. As for my new purchase, I won't be getting it in for a couple weeks, (shipping from the states) so anticipation will be strong as I sit here waiting for my cuttle bug and new gypsy!!! :D

Yay! back on track with my creative side! I love this little card! :) and I think you will too!

This little sun is from "create a critter, and the stamp is from my pink stamper! :) The envelope was created from the wild cards cartridge, but I didn't want the owl card, so I coordinated this one instead! :)

Hope You like it...<3 Holly

 Hello My Happy Scrappin Friends,

While I'm waiting for my Designer Calendar tutorial to finish loading to Youtube, I thought I would share the card that my son and I made for my mom! :)

She loved it, and I hope you like it too! :)  (sorry about the dark corner, camera wouldn't co-operate! :(   )

Hello again everyone!
I've been stuck in my scrap room all day, since I got a new Crop A Dile in today, and I'm so excited to share my newest idea. I had this idea when I seen a demonstration of how the crop a dile worked, this sort of just popped into my head! I know this will be great for gifts or even for yourself, if you are tired of having store bought calendars that don't make your space feel as pretty as you would like! :)
Hope you like it, I will post a video tutorial tomorrow, since I just wanted to make sure my idea worked first! :)
I didn't hang it on my wall yet, so its just attatched to my cork board, but if you will just imagine it hung to your pretty painted walls, you will get the full effect.

I will be posting the video tutorial tomorrow! :) Don't worry, my videoing skills can only get better with each video I post! :)

Thanks for looking,

<3 Holly

If you notice on the Calendar, there are eyelets that were punched with my crop a dile, and this makes it easy to change the month as you go, or if you give it as a gift, you can put all the months on here, and they can take each month of as the year passes!!! :)

Just thought it was a cool way to add some elegance to your every day calendar that people usually post! :)

*numbers weren't added yet on this picture, as you can see.. :S

Things I Used:
1 - 4x6 Frame
3 - sheets of paper (12")
2 - Screw in hooks
2 - Silver Eyelets
1 - Vacation photo from Dominican Republic ;)

Hope You Like It!!!

Please let me know if there is anything I have missed out, since I'm really new to making videos, and I don't want to forget any details! :)
